Where is the Best Place to Blog?
Lately there has been a lot of controversy over where people blog. The biggest being those who have left here to blog at Greasy.com. Well let me start by clearing up any confusion some people might behaving on this note.
MOST have not left blogster permanently but are more in hibernation until this site is fixed and then, once it is fixed intend to blog both places and this is perfectly acceptable. There are a few though who will not come back because they either feel they were treated unfairly or were treated unfairly.
Why pick greasy? Why because it is the old blogster. It is run on the same program the old blogster that everybody wants back was run on with the upgrades people wanted then. Is it better than what the developers of this blogster want this site to become? We will not know that until they are finished but it will certainly be different.
I think when this site was bought it was bought with the intention of changing it drastically from the format it once was like when new management takes over a restaurant and fires every one and starts fresh. The problem is all the customers who came before the change still wanted hamburgers but unfortunately all that was on the menu was sushi.
Well then a few bloggers who used google to find there old articles found them but when they clicked on them were shocked to find that another restaurant had opened it’s doors that still offered hamburgers only in a souped up variety and they were happy.
While they still had a taste for sushi they also still loved those all American burgers and now visit according to their tastes. Sure some will find that sushi sucks and others will decide they cannot bare the thought of yet another burger but in the end it will all work out.
It is not about cliques and Greasy certainly is not like a forum considering IT IS run on the same code blogster was run on until a few months ago.
It is just an alternative be it temporary, permanent or a duel choice it certainly is not something to be disparaged.
I personally found greasy because of that nutty woman who worked for the department of corrections and kept screaming at blogsters current owners to remove her name from the blog she created and put her name on and damn if I did not find out every damn thing about her! She put her personal information up every damn where! The cried to blogster as if they did something wrong. Anyway I searched her name and found her on greasy then I started snooping around and was having some serious déjà vu .
Of course then I told two people while simultaneously another friend of mine here on blogster was e-mailed about it and it snow balled from there!
I am just not happy with the trend I have seen about putting it down and the ones who scream the loudest, not you Angie, are the ones who have caused others so much trouble. Their insults are not based on any fact or any true disdain but more because of how they feel on a personal level.
I wanted to add that some are mad because people dare blog two places! Then damn! They must really hate me because I blog at…………….blogger, thumb blogger, vixen blogs, here, greasy, my space, mmmhollywould.com, my msn blog, yahoo 360, my adult space and well that might be it. May as well lynch me now!

I don't! I am pretty dstrapped actually but that is the best way to be.
As I said whatever floats your boat. I just want to be part of a happy place without contension. Too many things in life are difficult; I don't want unhappiness where I come to find peace. If I caused anyone distress, I am so very sorry.

I like the way greasy is set up, as you say it's good 'old blogster. I have gotten used to this site now. I only have basic blogging needs thankfully. I can't keep two blogs going. My life is not interesting enough, and humour doesn't become me.
Well I think it is interesting! That is the part I miss most here on blogster, being able to see your recent visitors. I think it is good for a bloggers ego and you had the option to go stealth as well which I never did!
I know, but it was my childishness that has caused this snowball, and I really feel awful about it. I am too stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are you talking about? You did not cause any of this really. What you wrote was just fine. It was someone else that caused me to write this and I had been thinking about writing it since yesterday after noon because folks on greasy kept wondering about double posting and if that mattered and , well , it does, you should not do it but heck I never even got to that guess you just inspired todays greasy blog!

Holy Cow! You must sit at the computer all day long to blog so many places
but if that is what makes you happy what difference does it make to anybody else. I really miss the old Blogster and I also visit Greasy now and then. Two is about all I can handle and my life is so boring 'cause all I do is work I don't have much to write about but I love reading about everybody else.
Actually you are exactly right. I sit in front of the computer all day and all night. I generally reserve the day time for work and the evening for blogs. I write what I get paid for during the day J Though some times like now I have to take a break which is usually when I make comments on others blogs or when I am first waking up! I clean my house when my butt gets sore!
Well, I don't feel so bad with all the blogs that I have now. I have one at myspace, livejournal, bravenet, greasy, and here (i used to have more).

Right on. Soem have gotten ticked about it when in fact the act of having more than one blog has been going on for a very long time!
Being an Internet idiot I just want a place that is easy to use--right now I post my blog at greasy because I can download pictures there (can't here) and then I C & P to blogster--the only thing I have asked is that people who have accounts at both places to comment at greasy not here as I was getting way to many notification e-mails (mainly duplicates) in e-mail box.
The one annoying thing now at blogster is that I get notifications from blogs that are private!!!
Now, unlike others, I don't find my life boring so I have no problems blogging
Although I like blogster, Wordpress has a better search engine presence on the web. I've had 1500 hits for my pages here...I've had over 14,000 for the same information over at wordpress.

Good post. I used to write at both blogger and blogster and went back and forth for periods. Since Eddie and I have history, I probably won't go to greasy though.
