Jessica Alba dumps church over 'promiscuity' slur

The Fantastic Four' star turned to the church after her multi-ethnic appearance posed as a barrier from her being accepted in the Latin community she grew up in. But after four years as a born-again Christian, Alba backed away from the religion saying, "older men would look hit on me and my youth pastor said it was because I was wearing provocative clothing, when I wasn't," reports Contactmusic. "It just made me feel like if I was in any way desirable to the opposite sex, that it was my fault, and it made me ashamed of my body and of being a woman," she added. Alba further said that she strongly disagrees with the church's condemnation of premarital sex and homosexuality, and that she is highly bothered about the lack of strong female role models in the Bible. "I thought it was a nice guide, but it certainly wasn't how I was going to live my life," she told to US Elle magazine. (ANI) Copyright ANI Below is the link to the actual article:

There really isn't all that much talk about homosexuality in the Bible or ANY scripture. I am going to blog about this.

At least no more talk than there is about stuff that is totally irrelevant to our lives today. It is not one of the 10 commandments. It is not even major or central yet people blow it totally out of proportion.
